This Cookie Policy explains how BAAMP LTD and BAAMP LLC (“BAAMP”, “we”, “us”) use cookies and similar technologies on baampwellness.com (the “Website”). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and our GDPR and Data Protection Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit it. Cookies help the Website work properly, remember your choices, and help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it.

Some cookies are essential for the Website to work, for example to remember what you have added to your basket. Others remember your preferences, tell us how the Website is being used, or help us measure our advertising. Cookies allow us to recognise your device, but not who is using it.

We also use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these.

Types of cookies we use

We group our cookies into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the Website to work. They remember your cookie choices, keep items in your basket, protect our forms from spam and process payments securely. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functionality cookies remember your choices, such as your country and currency, to improve your experience.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are visited most and how people arrive on the site. We only use these with your consent.
  • Marketing cookies help us measure how well our adverts on Facebook and Instagram work and show relevant BAAMP adverts to people who have visited our Website. We only use these with your consent.

Cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us: Shopify (our online shop), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Google (reCAPTCHA form protection and Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising). These companies may also set cookies on their own websites, and they use the information collected in line with their own privacy policies:

When you choose to pay with PayPal, you are taken to PayPal’s own website, where PayPal’s cookie policy applies.

How to manage or disable cookies

When you first visit our Website, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any analytics or marketing cookies are set. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies.

To change your choice later, delete the cookies for baampwellness.com in your browser settings. The cookie banner will then appear again on your next visit so you can choose again.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or allow cookies only from websites you trust. Instructions are usually in your browser’s “Help” or “Settings” menu. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Website, such as the basket, checkout and contact forms, will not work.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can manage how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings. For more general information about cookies, visit https://www.allaboutcookies.org.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or change providers. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
